What are the benefits of wearing magentic jewlery?
For centures, people have used magnets to relieve pain, improve blood circulation, and to reduce swelling. Magnets have been shown to increase the blood's oxygen level and they help to clear blood vessles of cholesterrol and calcium.
How do magnets work?
The principle behind magnets is relatively simple. Your blood has iron in it, which is naturally attracted to the magnets. This makes your usually sluggish blood course more rapidly through your body to pass under the magnets.
Now several things transpire when this takes place. Increased circulation so that many people who once complained of cold extremities say their feet are warm again. Because of the increased circulation endorphins are forced to run rapidly through your body. Endorphins are the “healing warriors” of our bodies, but because of our current lifestyle we never make them work hard enough. Endorphins do not pick and choose what they will or will not work on so as they run around your body a “whole body healing” is taking place. You feel better all over including increased energy. From a headache to a toe ache and everything in between. Even high school injuries can be affected in a positive manner.
Are magnets safe to wear?
Magnets are safe for everyday use. Please note: The jewelry is not intended for medical purposes or replacment of medication as directed by your physician. Our magnetic jewelry should not be used by anyone who has had surgically implanted devices unless first approved by their physician, or is pregnant, or has a pacemaker, etc., except for inner soles and/or anklet.
How do I know what knife to buy?
- Begin by thinking of how you will use the knife. Will you be using it everyday to cut twine or boxes? Is the knife for outdoor use, hiking, camping, climbing, backpacking, and/or will you be cutting rope? Will you be using the knife for hunting and/or fishing? Do you need a heavy, duty knife that won't fail? Are you looking for a limited edition or collectible knife?

Look at what features are important to you. A fixed blade knife is always open and ready to use. Folding blade knives are compact and easy to carry. One hand opening knives have a thumb stud, blade hole or other feature to facilitate one-hand use. Some models are one-hand opening and one-hand closing as well. Gutting/skinning blade knives are for field dressing game. Knives with thick blades are for heavy-duty tasks. Knives that are light-weight use a composite or other material to minimize weight. Knives with a saw edge are for cutting wood or bone.

What are knives made of? A good blade combines good edge retention, ease or re-sharpenting and rust resistance. S30V is the best blade steel available. It is a high vanadium stainless steel with even higher edge retention. ATS-34 and BG-42 are two custom steels with much higher carbon content, giving them higher hardness ratings and dramatically higher edge retention. 420HC is a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, is easy to re-sharpen and has mediumgood edge retention.

What about the material in a knife handle? A good handle should feel solid and well constructed when you hold it. Look for a handle style and material that meets your needs and suits your preference. An ergonomic design provides comfort. A rubber or textured handle provides a sure grip in wet conditions. A wooden handle adds beauty to the knife.
Plastic/composite handles are durable under extreme conditions.
You want a knife that is crafted from high quality materials and will deliver reliable performance. If it should ever fail you, be sure the maker stands behind it. |
